when your plug falls out you can still take tub baths.

Unless your membranes have ruptured, bathe away.

I think you are supposed to stop taking them once your water breaks because of infection. But like anyone would attempt that....well, at least I wouldn't unless I was doing an actual water birth.

You can take tub baths right up until your water breaks.

And the mucus plug is different for everyone. Some lose theirs 3 weeks before labor, some don't lost it until they are in labor. I hear that alot of women don't even know when they've lost it.

LOL. Wishful thinking is always nice. I lost my mucus plug with my first one the day I went into labor. I have no idea when I lost it with my second one....never noticed it. And so far, I have no clue. I am not exactly coherant for my 0300 urination rituals. lol.

I lost my mucus plug last week when my midwife "stretched" me and still no labor. I'm so anxious, it's not even funny. With my first son, I lost the mucus plug and was in labor 48 hours later. This time? Still nothing except days and days of anxiety.
