Has anyone had to go for monitoring

Lasted night and this morning had to make my baby move by tapping or move my belly. I tired different drinks and food both sweet and salty. I tried laying down and a warm bath. Nothing. I went to my doctors appt and he listened to her heart beat and said that it sounded good. He sent me to the hospital for more monitoring. I had a ultrasound done. They checked her organs, the fluid and the amount of movements. She moved very litely at first and the nurse had to put a sound machine on her to see if it would stimulate her. Then, I moved to my left side and did some more monitoring after that I moved back to my back and she started to move were I could feel her again. I got to see her yawn and wave her little hands around. Then, I went into a early labor elevation room and they put me on a monitor for her movements and heart beat. I have no idea what happened in the ultrasound room that made her more alert but she started to do what she normally does. I think that she did not like the monitor on her. I thought that maybe I was just losing it because she was just kicking and moving all over the place. The nurse said that sometimes they having sleepy and lazy times. I was scared going to the hospital but feel a lot better and she has not slowed down again since. I was just wandering if anyone else has experienced this with their pregnancy and if they received different advice.
