Period every 2 weeks ? Lasting 2 weeks? [TMI !]

So my last period was from January 13th to the 26th. Now I think I'm starting my period again because I went to the bathroom and there was blood after I peed.

Has this every happened to anyone   Because this really confusesme.

sounds like you need to go to the doc. its not healthy to have non stop bleeding for that amount of time.

My older sister has 2-3 periods every month! She is actually seeing a doctor right now to try and regulate it! She also found from going to her appts, and I'm not saying this is what is causing the irregular periods, but her cervix is in the wrong spot, and she has H.P.V. If you havn't had a pap within the last year, I would recomend getting one? And if you are conserned about irregular periods, I'd talk to a doctor about finding a way to regulate it!

I used to have a period that would last 10-14 days. This went on for about a year, the docs kept saying it was my body regulating itself from the m/c I had in 2005. Well, I ended up having PCOS. (poly-cystic ovarian syndrome) I was put on meds to regulate my periods and help me ovulate, but if I wasn't TTC then BC pills would have fixed the prob. Hope that helps, or at least gives you some ?'s to ask the doc.

You can get medication for these two things but its something that you'll always have i'm sure.

HPV is very common in lots of women. My best friend has it & she gets a shot for it. It just means that you can be at more risk for cervical cancer in the future so the medication helps with that.

pcos is not curible, but it can be treated. You either have to use a med. that helps you ovulate (metformin in my case) if you are TTC or be on BC to control your period's regularity. It's not something you notice otherwise, and it's not life-threatening or anything like that.

HPV is extremely common, like almost every woman gets it at some point in their lives, it may just cause them a problem. That's what I've heard and read at least....I'm not so informed about that one, sorry.

you're right about the HPV. Its like 95% of women have it! I dont have it but its very common anyway.

yeah, to my knowledge I don't either, guess we're the 5% ??? But I've heard about the shot too, haven't gotten it yet though, and my doc. hasn't mentioned it.

My best friend got the shot back in August right before she found out she was pregnant. That freaked her out but she was ok lol.

Is it okay to get pregnant and have HPV/ PCOS?

pcos is a fertility syndrome, it can be harder to get pregnant. And once you get pregnant your m/c rate is a lot higher, like 45% without meds. I had to stay on the metformin until I was out of my first trimester. But other than that, there's no harm in having it and being pregnant, it's not like an std or anything like that. It can't be transmitted to the baby or anything.
