bad dreams

i dont know if this has anything to do with being pregnet but latley i have been have bad dreams that wake me up and then when i finally fall back to sleep i have the same dream.its uasually being attacked bya bear.i used the have dreams like this when i was younger.after being charger at by a bear.i had them for almost 2 years straight.i was only 3 at the time and i was sitting on the gas tank of my dads dirt bike.i covered my ears because my dad was shooting at the bear but i was so scared that i couldnt close my eyes so all i could see is the huge grizzle running at me.my dreames were not me infront of the bear but it was me walking in the woods and seeing one then i would run but i would fall and couldnt get away.i am having the same dreams nowbut it has been almost every night for the last week.it maks it really hard to get to sleep and i havent had the dream scence i was 5.i cant figure it out.it seems so real but its not and it never happened except the one time with my dad but i wasnt running and my dad killed that bear.should i get help ?i thougt i was over it.i have seen bears after that and have even aken pictures of them but this has me all weroded out.

your dreams are how you deal with trauma in your life. they are your conscience's way of dealing with hard time in your life or bad things that have happened. your dreams are just sub-conscience way your mind helps you cope with things that have happened. google a dream dictionary or reoccuring dreams and see what happens...trust me, i have had many of these, it's nothing to be alarmed about!

I agree with May Mommy. I tend to have repetative dreams as well (not about a bear per se, but that's imaterial), and they're just a sub-conscious way of dealing with life in general. By the way, I noticed that since I've been pregnant my dreams have been frankly bizzare, and somewhat distrubing! Normal normal normal
