What is his problem?

ok..so i'm basically bawling right now... pretyt sure i am about 6 weeks pregnant...was just talking to my bf...pretty much the first time we've talked about it.. and he is being such an A**... i told him i don't want an abortion..and he snapped saying i PROMISED him that if i ever got pregnant i would get one....first of all this was like 4 years ago when we first started having sex..and like how the f*** are you supposed to know how your going to feel once it actaully happens....Now he's frekaing out at me saying if I keep it it will ruin both out lives and we can't afford it and...he's really close with his mom..he was adopted and they talk about everything.. AND HE SAID HE IS GOING TO GO AND TELL HIS MOM!!!! WTF I don't want him to go tell his mom i wanted to at least talk to him in perosn and talk to her together!!! Like i havn't even been to the doctors to confirm anything yet!! UGHhhhh i don't know what to do I am super upset right now and the one person i can usually go to to vent is the one who is making me cry!!!!Anyone else have their babies daddy react in a similar fashion!?

How old are the both of you? I'm quite sure yall knew what yall were doing when yall did it. Abortion is yall choice though but you're not children, at least I hope not.

why get so upset about something nobody can decide but you?  they can yell scream and fit all they want but they cant make you do anything you dont want to.  so tell them to shove it!

i was engaged at the time, and rob was estatic  .

his mama is gonna end up finding out anyway, as is your's. i don't see anything wrong with him telling his mother.

he's probably right about you two not being able to keep the baby. but he's probably just freaking out at the fact that it actually happened. give it a week or two and try calmy talking about it again. adoption is always an option, that is if YOU don't want to keep your child. it's up to you and only you. don't let him sway what you feel is right.

Tell his mom? Seriously?

Tell him to grow up! This is something the both of you need to discuss. His mother should play no part in this. If you've made your decision on keeping this baby, then keep it. Don't let him change your mind for you.

Hopefully you have supportive parents that will help you.

well I think he should just understand because his birth mom didn't abort him...and he's lucky she didn't shouldnt he understand what your going through..you don't have to do anything he tells you..doesn't matter if he blows up..and his mom should understand too because she adopted him..so maybe she couldn't conceive and is against the abortion thing...

Damn, that's messed up. You guys should at least be able to sit down together and talk before he goes and tells his mom. I told my boyfriend's mom I was pregnant before I even told him because we are super close...Telling my mom was a whole different story. I was taking so long to tell my mom I was afraid my boyfriend would do it. About your situation, your boyfriend is probably just shocked and scared and he will come around soon. I wish you the best in your situation.

my baby's dad always wanted me to get pregnant  
when i finally did, i was thinking about abortion but decided against it. it IS a completely different story once it actually happens to you.
funny thing is... he wanted a baby, i didn't. & now look who has complete responsibility because daddy ran off. lame.
but i couldn't be happier now. if you want to keep your baby, do it. your body. he can't MAKE you get an abortion.
