OTC Yeast Infection Cream?

Is there an over the counter Yeast Infection/diaper rash cream? Ive tried A&D w/zinc, Butt Paste & Triple Paste and my babies bottom isnt getting any better. So i think its most likely a yeast infection. They cant get her in to the doctor til tomorrow unless i take her to the ER. Anybody know of anything i can go out & buy? Thanks!!

I have like 10 sample tubes of Vusion that Victoria's doctor gave me and she is allergic to. I heard that stuff works great on most babies. I don't think i could get some to you that fast, though LOL

My doctor told me to use canesten on my baby's bum when he had a yeast infection. The generic name is clotrimazole cream.

My daughters pedi told me we could use the cream that is the YI topical cream ... Im not explaining it all that well I guess   but its the vagisil s/p stuff ... it comes in the tube and is use only externally ... but I would just call the drs to make sure you can use it  I dont know ifshe gaveus the green light on using itbecause sheover a year ....good luck

be careful with vagisil because my doc told me she's seen more chemical burns from vagisil than any other OTC yeast infection cream

Monistat monistat monistat! It will work wonders, trust me.. We thought my daughter had diaper rash and it wouldn't go away after 2 weeks my hairdresser mentioned that it could be a yeast infection. My stupid doctor didn't even figure it out, she told me just to put vasaline on it which made it blister! After we started the monistat it was gone within 3 days!

she gave us an anti fungal cream to use and she told me next time to use that stuff , but thanks for the heads up on it   much rather find out now before I found out the hard way   thanks

Ok thanks so much!! I just called the pharmacist and he said there is no otc cream for babies. BUT...i looked in my cabinet & i had some Nystatin so i put that on there and hopefully it helps!! thanks 4 the info, im going out now to get something else as a back up in case this dosnt soothe her. thanks again!!

oh you're welcome...bc (TMI) I had a yeast infection a few weeks ago and used vagisil and it burned like crazy and i wondered why so i asked my ob and she said thats what the problem was so she gave me this cream called calmoseptine and it works wonders its for everything you can think of the burn of post diarrhea and hemorrhoids, and yeast infections and things like that...
