ibuprofen

okay is it bad to take an ibuprofen once in a while.. because i can't take tylenol it just doesn't work on me. i have heard multiple things... so please help.. thank you

My doctor printed out a thing that told us what it does. It can cause birth defects even in the third trimester, it can cause miscarriage, and many other terrible things. DO NOT EVER TAKE IT! only Tyenol.

Never, never take ibuprofen. Tylenol is it as far as OTC goes. If you need something stronger, ask your doc and he/she can provide a prescription pain reliever that is safe.

i was told to never take it it can really hurt the baby! the only thing i took was tyenol

You're only supposed to take Tylenol.

Ibuprofen is a blood thinner, it messes with the babys circulation, causing unproper blood flow to organs, brain...etc.

not a good idea.

Tylenol does absolutely nothing for me either.
All of their products are useless imo.

I would call the doctor for suggestions if I was you.

According to http://www.safefetus.com, it is safe until 3rd trimester. But I would still ask my doctor first.

why not just take something you KNOW is safe?

see i have heard that as well.. idk my first docs appt is friday but all they are doing is blood work...but i am going to ask her then.. bc i am just not sure!

i wasn't being hateful. so, don't take it that way.
i'm just saying. tylenol is safe. so, why not take that?
