Can someone please help me out cuz I'm confused?

posted 9th Feb '08
I somewhat posted sometime like this yesterday but didn’t get to much answer for it, so I’m reposting it but a lot more better then before!! Anyways okay I'm wondering is possible to ovulate twice in one month?? Cause as some of you girls may know that I been ttc ever since the end of Nov cause I lost mi son in Oct  !! Well I got my af on Jan 11th & it ended on Jan 15th!! So okay I started tracking my ttc chart thingy when I got my af in Jan.! And my cycle was suppose to be 35 day cycle long and I should be on day 30 of my cycle today!!! And before I ovulated my most fertile days were starting Jan. 27th to Feb 1st! So okay I should be on my 9th dpo cause I most defiantly ovulated on Friday Feb. the 1st, I know I did cause I seen the sticky egg white mucus down there!! So hubby & I have been having sex since Sunday night to Wednesday night and I noticed late, late that night that I had white sticky stuff down there but mi hubby doesn’t comes in though so its not his come that I seen down there, I don’t know what that was though!!! Anyways I was expecting af to show her ugly face on Feb.15th but no she showed her ugly face yesterday Feb. 8th! So I’m charting again my ttc thingy with my af showing up a week early and I have a 28 day cycle long this time and my most fertile days starts Feb. 17th and I would be ovulating again this month on Feb. 22nd!! And I would be expecting my af to show her ugly face again March 7th, 2008!! But the thing I don’t understand or get is why did my af showed up a week early if I just ovulated a week ago and have been having sex with hubby and she just shows up just like that?? Please can someone please help me out with this cause I‘m getting extremely confused right now!! I’m up for anything advice on this matter please ladies!! Thanks ladies  !!

The only thing I can say is that after having a baby, things can get crazy.

Good luck..

And now I'm confused about something....if you are ttc, how come your husband doesn't finish inside you?

I'm one of those double ovulaters, so YES, you can ovulate twice in month. Two other pregnancies, plus this one were "vanishing" twins because I ovulated twice, both were conceptions, yet only one of the twins survived. I lost Lil One's twin about a week ago.

The best way to know for sure is watch your periods. I know I double ovulate when I have a three days flow, two day skip, three day flow period. If I have a straight five-six day flow, then I only ovulated once.

Yeah I guess maybe that’s the reason why my body is going crazy!! Thanks mama I need all the luck I can get!!! Well it’s a very long story why mi hubby doesn’t finish inside of me but to make it short he doesn’t want to cause he doesn’t think that we are ready to have another baby right now even though that I try & try to conceive him that we are ready but no he still doesn’t want to finish in me!!

Wow I never heard out the double ovulaters before!! Should that be a good sign for me, if I’m ovulating again this month??? Oh mama I’m so sorry to hear about your babies!! I try to watch my periods every time I get them!!! Well ok it started yesterday morning but it wasn’t all that much blood it was very light bleeding though, but today its kind of slightly heavy though!! So I maybe having the three days flow & two skip day flow period cause now my periods only last for 5 days only but by the three day it gets really light and it stays like that until it ends on the 5th day!!! So maybe that’s the reason I’m ovulating again this month??

Hi,
I had a MC last may and since that time my AF have been anywhere from 21days like you have experienced to 31 days. I was always a regular 28 day girl so I tracked them and went to my doc in Dec and showed him. However he said that they looked normal and that anything within a 21-36 day range could not be classed as abnormal.
I would personally just track AF and note any patterns and then have a chat to your doc about it if you are worried but things do get a little freaky after losing a baby.

i never doubly ovulated but i know that my cycles were always somewhat regular yet, somewhat off...i had gone from the 29 day cycle to a 34 day cycle (it took a few months to get there but it did) and then the cycle that i got my bfp was only 26 days. i started to have strange pinges in my left side (i think it was my left side) and had the ewcm and just to confirm things, i took one of my opk strips and for the first time EVER i had an extreme darker test line than control line. i was def o'ing!!! but that was the only time i had the ewcm during that cycle until i got my bfp and then it was sporatic and crazy. perhaps you will need to monitor your cycle with more methods than just watching cm and calenders. i would have loved to chart with my temp but for some reason i lost my memory every morning and wouldn't remember to take my temp until after i was already up and atem...so i did the opk strips which were frustrating and confusing at first becase it was always "oh so close yet so far away" ...but your best start would be having your husband definitely finish inside you instead of pulling out. there is always that chance of getting pregnant while pulling out but when you're actively ttc - that can definitely have an effect on the success....i hope that you're able to get your cycle figured out this month mama. i know it sucks when our bodies don't keep to a schedule as much as we want them to!

Well my cycle were always regular until I got preggo then my cycles become crazy and wild!! I mean I was a 28 day cycle kind of girl before well that’s what I think, now I never know how long my cycle would be though!! I just wished that on this cycle I would finally get my bfp, well at least that’s what I am hoping for!!! Yeah perhaps I do need to monitor my cycle better with more methods than just watching cm and calendars! But the thing I have no idea on how to monitor my cycle though!! Well chart my temp would be nice but I have no idea how to do things like that, so Im guessing that most defiantly off my methods on things *sigh*!!! Um well where can you get some opk strips from?? Can you like buy them from the store or something like that or do you have to buy it off online?? Yeah I think that opk strips will most defiantly will be frustrating and confusing for me, I know that!!! Yeah I know that my best start would be having mi hubby definitely finish inside of me instead of pulling out, but I cant seem to conceive to finish inside of me though *sigh* . I know that there is always that chance of getting pregnant while pulling out but when actively ttc that could be definitely have an effect on the success!!! But I cant seem to get thru his head that to finish in there though which sucks so bad though!!....I surly am hoping as well that I will be able to get mi cycle figured out this month to. Yes it does sucks when our bodies don't keep to a schedule as much as we want them to!

the opks aren't too bad...i mean it gets frustrating, but then at least this would allow you some sort of answers as to the best times despite the fact that they may not be the answers that we want. i got mine at www.babycreations.com but you can also get them at saveontests.com ....they are pretty cheap too, especially for the dipsticks and (at least for me) as a bonafide poasa, they allowed me to feel like i was testing something while waiting for my surge and then waiting to have the tww....maybe try talking to your husband about what you want...it seems like you both aren't on the same page as far as ttc...i understand the whole, "if it happens it happens" attitude, but when you go shopping without your wallet the chances of buying something is more slim than being sure you have all your cash and credit cards in tow if you know what i mean....lots of luck!

My average is 21 days. Again, don't let "averages" and "statistics" get you....people are all different. Track yours for a while and you'll learn your own clock, THEN you'll know for sure when something isn't right.
