raising my daughter around my sisters??

okay i have quite a dilema. Since i'm still in high school i still live at home until after i graduate this year. well i have two sisters. 6 and 10. they are constantly fighting and being a pain. my 6 year old has a constant attitude that she can do whatever she wants. and the 10 years old is the most immature 10 year old i've ever met. she cries over everything and throws tantrums about absolutley EVERYTHING! how am i supposed to raise my daughter around them when i can't even handle being around them?

Babies are a lot easier to take care of, but I know how that is. I REALLY don't want to raise my daugher around my older brother (17 and pregnant too) just because of how big of a jerk he is.

Now you can step back, see what they are doing wrong, and try to prevent your daughter from ending up like that.

why don't you get a place with your b/f? me and my hubby are only a year older and we do just fine on our own...  

Aww im sorry, kids can really drive you nuts, even siblings, babies are different, they will see what you do and how you raise her. And at least one good thing is by the time your little girl is old enough to notice whats going on, your sisters should be out of that phase, in a couple years your oldest younger sister will be more worried about clothes and boys and crap to care about what your youngest sister is doing. Hang in there momma!

yeah i recognize a problem but my mother doesn't. i try and tell her all the time how worried i am about my daughter being around them but she says that everything will be fine. but i turn 18 on monday so if i can't handle it.. my boyfriend and i have a house already.. and i'll just move out because my daughter is NOT turning out like them. and i just worry about the littlest (6 year old) that she is not going to listen to me when it comes to the baby and i dno't want them thinking that as soon as they get home from school that they can be all over her.

oh believe me.. i could if i would. i turn 18 on monday and we have our own house alreayd my mom just won't let me move out until i graduate in june.

You can move out once you turn 18,your mom doesn't have a say in it after that  

Good luck hun! I know what it's like,I have an almost 7 year old nephew (turns 7 3 days after my due date) and he is so spoiled. He gets away with everything because he's "only 7". Ugh it irritates me. Once they were going to have pizza for supper and Parker wanted breadsticks,so what does my sister do? Goes through Fazoli's drive through and gets him 2 breadsticks! Can we say spoiled (that's not even as bad as it gets, that one just irritated me to the max lol)

wow sounds like my mother with my sisters. the one time she was going to go over to the mall and my littlest sister started throwing a fit and she was half way there so she turned around and came back home!!!

lol that sounds like my sister with her 7 year old, but she also has a 10 month old who is going to be just as spoiled, the kid is ALWAYS held and doesnt ever get a chance to get down and play and be a kid becuase my sister is always holding him, i hope he starts walking before kindgergarten

I know how you feel. I was class of 07 but me and my fiance are going to stay living with my mom for alteast a few months after the baby is born..so we can save up money. but I have a younger brother who is 17 and he can be such an ass. he dosn't work and my mom hands him money left and right.. she comes home from work and says things to me like''if you're going to sit at home alll day the least you could do is clean up around here" (when it's not even my mess) and like my brother is home all day too but she never tells him to clean or do dishes and then she pulls the whole "how are you going to be a mother if you can't even do a dish?" ugh, I mean we're not in the same exact situation but my family totally drives me crazy as well. i can't wait to get the F out of here ! hahah i have a 10 year old sister that lives with my dad in florida..and I could only imagine how it would be to live with her.. I want to kill myself when she just comes to visit.lol

lol my only problem with moving out early... our house isn't in my school area so if my mom wanted to be a bitch she could tell the school that i wasn't living at home anymore and i would get in deep shit.

ugh well that's fucking retarted. I would be so pissed! but at least as soon as you graduate you can move out thoug, I mean it's not that far away.. I wish I could move out before my son gets here too, but I know that I won't... 

Not once your 18,trust me. I have an 18 year old neice,and she moved out when she was 18,doesn't matter if you're still in school,as long as you go to school you can legally move out when you're 18.

yeah my daughter will be like 4-5 months old but i'm kind of glad i'll be living at home just because by the time i move out.. i'll have a hang of having a baby lol
