bloody show

hey so i had my bloody show( alot of it) and am cramping alot for a couple of days now......how long after your bloody show did you go into labor?

you need to go now cause it can come on fast now.. Things are going to fly by now that you have had your show... Good luck..

I had mine on Wednesday and still nothing.

Losing your mucus plug is a sign that labor COULD be near, but if you do not go into labor within 24 hrs of losing it, it will grow back. I know it sucks. I would still call your doc's office to let them know about your bloody show (mucus plug) and the cramping, they might want you to be checked for dialation.

actually i did call my doctor and went to the labor and delivery and he hooked me up to monitors and said i was definatly having contractions but i wasnt even slightly effaced so he didnt want to keep me there...he said if i was effaced and more dilated he would have just kept me there...so now im just wondering how long it would take for my body to do it on its own......i lost a big piece of my plug a week ago...but this time it was purely blood

If it was straight red blood I would get to theL&D asap. That can not be a good thing.

If they said everything was fine. I would just go walking. Do some house work. That'll move things along. If it doesn't, then its not time yet.

thats what i was thinking but my ob said it was dialation blood vessels breaking....and the baby has not slowed down a bit.....and after that i continued to spot a little bit and lose some plug but thats it....it is normal to have blood iwhtout the actual plug coming out at the same time

I went within 12 hours after my bloody show! I did some squats and it helped me go into labor!
