I would say it's best to do it right away, but it is NEVER too late!

I think I mailed most of mine off within a week or two, with the remainders being sent by a month. . .I would try to get them out by a month. . .that gives you some time, but it's still fresh in their minds too.

it took me a month to get mine out in the mail. I think as long as its not over two monthes its fine. cuz they know ur busy trying to get the babys room ready on top of being pregnant and tired

I had a shower thrown for me in Oct. last year in NC, it was on a Saturday. We came home on Sunday and I mailed my cards Monday morning.
Then My sister from GA was in for Christmas in Ohio same as I was and she threw me a shower Christmas day. We did not come home (WV)until Friday, so mine went out on Saturday.
Then tonight our church is having one for us and I will have my cards out on Monday (Lord willing).
When my ex boss (since having to quit) has my shower, I will do the same for them too.
I feel these people took their time to go choose a gift and show up (and they didn't have to), then they deserve a thank you for it and right away.
This is just my way of thinking and doing.

I had my shower on January 27, and my thank you cards are sitting addressed next to me waiting to be mailed (I need stamps). I thanked everyone for their gifts as I opened them. They all know I'm 9 months pregnant and have other things going on too. I think about a month is ok.

I had my shower on January 12th and I still haven't sent out my "Thank You" cards but I'm definitely going to after I have him, I was thinking of sending small birth announcements with them as well.

Sending thank yous out as soon as possible is just common curtisy....i can't believe some haven't sent them out yet when they had showers months ago. I know exhaustion and everything set in but it's considered rude not to send out thank yous!

I understand what you're saying Nikki but uh, I don't think it's rude what I'm doing. I'm sending them out when I have the baby with birth announcements. I didn't know it was such a problem.

thanks girls great so I do have some time my problem is I just cant seem to get to the Post Office to get stamps either I didnt think I was being rude people have to understand us pregnant ladies have alot going on in our lives and Cards are almost last on the list of things to do. My MIL waas on my back about them so I had to figure out if I was being rude by not sending them out like the same day haha. Thanks Again SOO Much

I had my baby shower on the 2nd and sent mine out last week. I guess I just wanted to get them out right away. Even though I said a million thank you's at the shower to each of them for their presents I felt it wasn't enough.
