i say gateway, because they say when you do bud, your most likely to try something els, once your hi doesnt faze you anymore your likey to try something stronger.

I just know that my parents took a second out on our house and sold a car to send my father to rehab so in some way or another it had to have been addicting. He couldn't quit on his own.

yep yep. i stopped cold turkey. had no problems, other than i missed it.... still kinda miss it.... now when you quit drinking, after being a hardcoe drinker for years, oh you'll think you're dieing. (thank you mom) same with lsd, herion is a biggie, coke, (again mom, ) those drugs you can see killing you and feel like it if you try and quit.

thank God you posted this.... I hate how everyone is soo against pot smoking without knowing the reality of it...

i dont believe it, from personal experience i guess everyone reacts differently but i have never gotten stoned and wanted to do lines

my husband has been smoking for 10 years he wants to quite but cant is that not addiction

mentally yes, but he will not physical reaction to quitting if he does, not like heroin addicts shake get fevers throw up etc... not that kind of addiction, its more or less will power and if he can quit he doesnt have it

Sadly, that happens. It can be very mentally addicting.

It just isn't physically.

yes it does have n effect on different people, but you will only stray if you allow yourself to. thats why i dont understand how people go from crack,to heroin,ect ect

ive been smoking... well i HAD been smoking since i was 12.. so ten years i quit when i was pregnant... maybe its more of a i wont, than i an i cant.. Just a thought.
