posted 8th Feb '08
so my daughter is 9 months old and recently started chewing on her crib..and im fine with that. but now shes starting to chew on our glass coffee table. ive tried giving her other things to chew on but she only wants to chew on the glass. im worried she might chip it and cut her mouth. does anyone have any ideas of what i can do?

it may look wierd but try putting a table cloth over it. She may want to rip it off... but it may alleviate her urge to chew on it when she doesn't see it. Out of sight out of mind?

yeah if it's like a coffee table or somethign I would just get rid of it too. I got rid of mine because i figured it's one less thing for him to bump his head on once he starts moving around..LOL

Get rid of the table or put it in storage for the time being. Just think that as she gets older she will be climbing. It would be horible for her to fall through it.
