I agree.  There is the ignore button for the bitches.  I used to be sensitive about the hate on here at first but then I got used to it.  Infact, I think it's helped the site.  It makes people try and sound a little more intelligent and actually do a little research (whether it's on this site or not).  But it's one thing to be bitchy to a person who posted yet another "stretchmarks" topic, and calling someones baby ugly or telling someone there a bad mom.

I think its a bit rude to dismiss comments that dont agree with yours, like bobbi's with her walgreen's sarcasm that was actually quite funny.

Its one thing to have a big heart and want everyone to feel warm and fuzzy - but you have to be realistic too...

AND, women cant and should not support someone if they are suggesting something stupid. They can only hope to educate them and influence them to make better decisions.

Do you really think that a group of women (half of which are in there teens and early twenties anyways) can all just get along? I hate to say it.....but not possible.

completely agreed. I am so sick of women that do truly need advice getting ridiculed-I saw a topic last night about smoking and how to quit (yes there have been 50 million of these posted, and yes it is a know fact that smoking is harmful to both the mother and baby-that is why the girl was trying to quit!) There were so many members that tore this poor girl apart-who was just asking for advice and tips on how other smokers quit when pregnant. It pissed me off so bad.

If you don't play into the drama, it won't bother you. If you don't respond to someone who is name calling, they will go away. Now someone not agreeing is fine, but when they start name calling and bashing, it just shows their true colors. I would never take advice from someone who can't speak with an equal level of respect. Not saying everyone needs to respect everyone, but inlife there has to be a common ground of respect. Treat others how you would want to be treated. Some women just have their days, hormones are my worst enemy. I
try my hardest not to take my pain and discomfort out on others, but sometimes it happens, not on here tho, just in general. I never call someone names tho, name calling makes the other person look like a joke.

While I understand your point, the reason there is so much hostility on this site because one person ruined it for the rest of us. One day, some sick little teenager got it in their head that they would play on the emotions of caring moms or moms to be and make up a sob story. In the last week even, I have seen so many FAKE women on this site.
Yes, this site is mainly for support, an a lot of women will be supportive, but the fact remains that most of us are the way we are so we can weed out the fakers. It isn't to be bitches (even tho I know some of us enjoy it-ME INCLUDED) haha, but when its someone saying their due date is October 29th and they wouldn't even know they're pregnant yet, or saying they got an amnio at 6 weeks which isn't even possible, yeah...We're GONNA jump their shit because its bs! Its taking a very amazing experience-that of being pregnant and becoming a mother, and trashing it. Making a mockery of the whole thing.
Yes, there are some women on here that start drama just for the hell of it, but for the most part, the members on this site are amazing caring women. Please remember that before you jump to conclusions. You're only looking at the bad before knowing all the facts.
