Well it could be an excuse if she doesn't know that language that well.  That would be a good explanation for why her vocab is whack.  I wasn't trying to say anything mean about no having English a first language.  Just wondering.  Now I'm asking myself is it really worth my time though.  I don't think so.

I've just noticed so many people who have been speaking English, well for the most part, their entire lives, bringing up the 'English isn't my first language' card - I think it might as well be.

I think they're advertising more... it's taking the "sacredness" away.

and no, being a bitch on purpose is not a good quality is what you said...and it should be one of the rules and regulations when you sign up...i keep telling them this and they dont listen. its like they think the bitchier they are, the more people will ilke and respect them...ugh

I love this site, I've been a member since October I think (maybe nov), I don't have many post though. Because I've seen alot of people being told to learn how to spell. Well Being french, my english spelling is not the greatest. I'm always using the dictionary. I just don't want to annoy people with my spelling unless I feel that I really need to say something. I find myself looking for post that are related to my questions. But the times that I have posted things I have never had a problem, I find all of the ladies here amazing, and personally I don't see a problem with people voicing their oppinion, that's what you post for right, to get other's oppinion's.

Normally i keep my mouth shut but this is debate and discuss so im going to put my 2 cents in. I have been a member for over a year now. When I first came here it was a bunch of people getting to know each other. Everyone was willing to give everyone a chance. There were some people that (i agree) were idiots and #1 on the hated list and a few of them "made nice" and became semi likes and tollerated. The ones that werent able to be tollerated were bashed for an hour then ALL their posts were ignored until they went away. The girls that are "bitchy" now used to ignore the people and posts that bothered them. The internet gives people more "courage" i guess to say what is on their mind. There was a post the other day that asked if you were the same in real life as you are on this site or other sites. And the majority of the answers i saw said something along the lines of ill be more "blunt." There are probably seeral times a day when i read a post i want to call the OP an idiot or roll my eyes, but instead of doing that i move on to the next post or whatever im going to do. This place has become a high school campus, between the cat fights, the drama, and the "cliques." It is so wonderful that for alot of people this has become a place they can come to to talk about their problems wwith their friends, but it is sad that for alot of other people it has become a place that they hate. Yes those people can and should go other places, but they wouldnt feel like that if the people who insist on being judgemental, or "bitchy," or feel that they have to make it clear that all they want to do is roll their eyes.   Sure sometimes its called for, but dont you think that if you just ignore it there is a better chance of them going away and not having a ton of posts end up in the drama corner. I come here because there are alot of ladies who have already been in my shoes and can offer advice, but there are also alot of ladies that have no place putting their 2 cents in when it comes to someone's baby not sleeping through the night and wanting advice on CIO or semi CIO or no tears methods of sleep training. If you dont know because you havent had to experience that part yet shut your mouth, if you have been there and tried something sucessfully, nicely give your thoughts but if someone else says something else dont bash them because you dont agree with it. Maybe that person tried EVERYTHING and what you dont agree with is the only thing that worked for them. That goes back to if you didnt have to experience it shut up. Every child is different and every mother/father is different. Of course i agree that if people thought before they spoke that this place would be alot happier for every one. The "noobs" would find out that if they are acting "noobish" they wont get attention, thus making the "noob haters" happy because they either get smart or go away. The more attention you give something the longer it stays the more annoying it becomes and the more drama it causes, ignore it and it will go away. Please dont get me wrong and think im complaining about this site at all, because im not, it litterally got me through my pregnancy and helps me along the way with my son now, but there was a time where not many posts were sent to TDC. People were able to ignore or be ok with 1 person saying "hey this was posted 5 mins ago" not it has to be 12 pages of bickering because someone doesnt know how to use the search function. Geeze, ive been here for over a year and STILL cant use the damn thing, call me retarded but i never get the results even if i know the exact name of the post. I miss the old BG but i have learned to deal with the new BG and just look past the stupidity and pass it instead of let it bother me, its not that hard.
