Finally, a pooch!

posted 6th Feb
I am one of those women in a line of women that don't appear pregnant until about 6 months of pregnancy and somehow stay very slim throughout our pregnancies...my mother was 5'3" and only 105 lbs giving birth to me. (I know, lucky biotch!!) But all this slimness is actually not so much a blessing...I walked into a small baby store to look at some goods yesterday and the woman at the counter kept eyeing me funny...she finally asked if I was looking for a gift for someone I knew having a baby, haha...when I told her I was 18 weeks pregnant, she couldn't believe it. No body believes it, really...I look the same as I did pre-preg...we went out the other night to the local casino to get out, and men were checking me out! If only they knew I was in baby factory mode, I think it would be alittle different on their ends. Plus, people assume I mustn't be eating right or something, its embarrassing! I finally noticed a tiny bumping going on, and I can't wait! I hopefully won't be mistaken once my tummy grows out! ;)

Lucky you to be so thin! Let me tell you...as soon as I found out I was pregnant (I was 4.5 wks) I swear it was like my pants didn't fit and my belly started getting big. Now, granted I normally wear a size 16 my belly didn't stick out that damn much! Now, here I am barely at 12 wks and already I look like I'm further along. I just wish I was still my size 5 I was in the military. Oh well.

I feel bad because you must be thinking "Crap, I'm already growing in the tum, how big can I possibly GET!" My poor friend still has 13 weeks to go, and she literally looks like she's going to pop! According to her doc, the baby is just GINORMOUS! HAHA....I am hoping for a nice sized baby, not TOO big, but definately not too small. Hopefully with a big smart brain! ;)

A lot of times it is also the way the baby chooses to curl up. My little man isn't that big...he's actually right there at normal. But he likes to ride high and close to the outside of my tummy. Which makes me look huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge.

I'm guessing he's gonna be one of those people that prefers to stay on the cooler side (ie keeps the air conditioner on HIGH, loves to be out in the snow, etc.) since he seems to like being far out in your tummy, haha...
