Tring to get two year old out of my bed.

posted 5th Feb
I have a two year old and seven month old. Jaxson my two year old sleeps in our bed. We have tried putting him in his toddler bed and have even put his bed beside ours to see if that would help. But no Jaxson screams for hours and I mean hours until he makes his self sick. Our seven month old Nikolas sleeps in crib in our room and the screaming has woken him up to now both boys scream all night to where me and my husband get no sleep. Some nights we just give in because we are so sleepy That we can not go another night without sleep. To makes problems worse my uncle and mother watch the boys and my mother puts both boys in her bed to sleep and that is our bed because she keeps them out our house. We need help I would love to get sleep. The boys do not sleep in there rooms because there rooms are downstairs and ours is up. And crazy people in this world scare me to where they are all in our room. I keep Nikolas the seven month old in his bed but now he sees Jaxson getting in our bed and wants in also. Please help me to be able to spend time with my husband alone in piece and sleep . Thank you and please help. we all need it.

My sister started her daughter with naps inthe big girlbed the slowy moved to night time. Also she let her pick out her own bedding and that made a differance.

Put your foot down! Im sorry to say this but your two year old is two!! You are going to feel worse about the whole thing later on then he does, but you HAVE to be strict about certain things. It apparently bugs you that your toddler is in the bed with you so do what you have to do to keep your two year old in his bed. Reward with treasures in the morning(like stickers, bubbles)for when he stays in bed all night. Just remember You are the parent
