I am at the beginning of y 19th week, and have thought I felt little flutters but not sure that i have felt the baby move yet?Doctor said more then likely I wont be able to tell until about 20 wks, but I was unsure. Is this normal for my first pregnancy? I am a little worried but heartbeats great. Some advice would be well appreciated!

As long as the heartbeat is fine there's no reason for concern. You will have plenty of time later in your pregnancy to tell him to stop kicking you in the ribs.

Totally normal for your first pregnancy. Try not to worry, pretty soon you'll be feeling him all the time.

Kayla, don't worry too much. I made it to 19 weeks and 4 days with twins and didn't feel anything, and this time I am at 18 weeks exactly and feeling little tickles.... or are they?   Wont be long for us I am sure.

I'm 19 weeks and feel my miss jellybean moving around like crazy in there, but this is also my second child.

If you are feeling flutters most likely it's your baby. It feels like a muscle spasim down in your uterus area just above your pelvic bone. Or you might imagine it as a butterfly in a net feeling. Or a fish in a net feeling. If you feel that then yep it's your little jellybean^^

Quoting Kayla8587:“ I am at the beginning of y 19th week, and have thought I felt little flutters but not sure that i have ... [snip!] ... Is this normal for my first pregnancy? I am a little worried but heartbeats great. Some advice would be well appreciated!”

MEH! I dont think Dr's know what you are feeling! I have no doubt in my little pea brain that I was feeling my son move by 16-17 weeks, and by the time I was almost 19 weeks I KNEW excatly where my son was positioned! I went in for an u/s in December to do the fetal survey and find out what we were having and of course I had to go in with a FULL BLADDER! Well to say the least by the time my hubby and I were in the waiting room at the office I was in agony! I kept telling my husband that I was being kicked right on the top of my poor aching bladder, and he just kind of smiled and said you are probably right... Sure enough when I got onto the u/s table and she put the transducer on my tummy we could clearly see two little feet kicking around right at the top of my bladder!!!
Trust your instincts, I hate to say that Dr's know nothing, but the fact is that some women are more in tuned to what they are going through and what they are feeling, and therefor feel their baby's sooner. Just trust your gut and go with it. I bet my bottom dollar that you are feeling your little angel say "hi"!
