Crazy Stuff!

posted 4th Feb '08
So the past week has been crazy! First, I had a pinkish/reddish dischard (which I think was my mucas plug.) Shortly followed by some fluid leakage. So called my doctor and he sent me to the ER. There they discovered I have a "high tear" in my bag wich is leaking fluid. They told me to go home and take it easy.... and try to let the tear heal up.
So, I did that for a few days but this was followed by the most EXTREME exhaustion I have ever felt in my life! I have slept about 18-22 hours a day. I cannot keep my eyes open! and when I try to stand (to shower or go to the bathroom) I pass out! So that got me a little worried and THHHEEENNN... I got a fever! So I once again call my doctor who told me to go back to the ER.
SO last night I went back to the ER and they gave me and IV, did some blood work and checked the baby. After about 3 hours all they could tell me is my white blood cell count is very low (3000) and I have an "unknown origen for my fever." The baby looks fine.
I called my doctor this morning to let him know all this and he cant even see me until Thursday.... I just don't understand WHAT is going on!

Wow that does sound like a bunch of weird crazy stuff. At least the baby is doing ok though. Just try and rest up as best as you can and hopefully either things will get better or your doctor will figure something out Thursday.

So, was everything on yor CBC okay besides your WBC count? Were your mono's or lymphs high? Or maybe any abnormal cells? Or did they even tell you anything about it?
