27 weeks and baby has urine in her kidneys

Well I went and had an ultrasound done on Friday and they told me that my baby has urine in her kidneys. I am 27 weeks and 3 days pregnant. If anyone has had this and can give me alittle information on it please let me no, I am nervous that something maybe wrong with my daughter.

they told me the same thing when i was 19 weeks, and then again at 24 weeks. they just told me that sometimes the dont get all of the urine out of their bladder so it backs up in their kidneys. they told me that if it wasnt better this last time that they will wait til hes born and then do an ulrasound on him check it. but that's all i know about that.

My neice had that problem. There was nothing deadly about it. They caught it too when she was around 30 weeks. It had gotten better over time however when she was born she still had the problem. It lasted until she was a year old. It caused kiddney stones and infections a few times and was really painful for her, but for the most part she was fine. She is a normal thriving seven year old with no problems what so ever anymore. This is just her story. Your baby could be completely different. Best wishes.
