bleeding and sex

Okay...im sure that there's threads out there somewhere on this but ive been looking FOREVER and cant locate it so, ill just ask.

I delieved my little man 2 weeks ago and my husband will be home at the end of the month. OBVIOUSLY im gonna want to have sex. Im on a progestren (spelling??) only B.C.pill. Does anyone know about how long I'll bleed or when I should start a normal period again? u think we'll be okay for some R&R nookie?

I dont know anything about the bleeding part but I do know that they definitely stress waiting 6 weeks....so if youll be at that by then you should be alright Id think.

If you only had your baby 2 weeks ago and you're still bleeding then you shouldn't have sex! You're bleeding because there is an open wound on your uteus where the placenta was attached. Until that heals you are more susceptible to infection.

lol...i didnt notice the misspelling. im not planning on any sex til the end of the month (my hubbys been deployed and will be home then for leave) im barely bleeding now, but i didnt know when a regular period would start..
