I can handle Anchorage .... and he was like baby .. were not going there   further north he told me ..... so I moved for va to here about a year ago .. and agreed everyone up this way is really rude too , and always in a rush ...... What base did you guys have to leave from , or is this his first base??

We lived in texas before coming here. I miss texas so much it only snowed twice while we were there. We made such good friends while we were at Texas and here it just seems like everyone is so much older then us and wont give us the time of day or I will start talking to a girl and she will tell me shes pregnant and never talk to me again. I like Anchorage for the most part, I just hate sitting in traffic for 20 minutes when you leave base or the crazy drivers that dont slow down at all even though its icy. My husband wants to extend here but I want to go back to texas. We still have over 2 years here.

the ones from the doctor and the ones from the supermarket are exactly the same hunny

I just got the ones from Walmart...I think they're called OneSource...and they aren't so bad. They aren't huge...but I did get a little nauseous! Just make sure you take them with food

Yeah We have exactly two years left come feb 8th   Im hoping though they will give us orders out of here early though ... they are having some kinda of housing issue ... and are planning on moving us just 6 months shy of us leaving to move into another home to demolish our section ...... "Finger crossed" that they say screw it and give us orders on a one way ticket out of here ..... to save money   but Im not holding my breath on that one ... and yea the roads up here arent that bad until you get into the really SMALL downtown of fairbanks , then the roads are bad .. but most of the time they keep the roads really clear .. I'm just hoping that when we leave here we got to leave alaska all together ... I just have this feeling that were going to get orders to elmo for 3 years, leaving me in alaska   when all I wantisto go back to the east coast .. So again as much as my hunny will hate me for saying this I want to go back to langley in va when this tour is over .....

Yeah I want to go back to Texas. My husband was thinking of taking a teaching job there so we would be in texas for 4 years. I like texas but 4 years is a long time there. I was really hoping he would want to go to Ohio or something so we could be close to my family because hopefully we will have kids by then. I know here they told us the housing list wasa year long but we got here and got a house the next day and these houses are so much better and bigger then the ones in texas. They have been making people extend here when there time is up so I have no clue if they will make use extend or not. Dont get me wrong its so beautiful here and the summers are nice because it doesnt really get insanely hot but the winters are just to long and to cold for me. Ive always hated snow.

I just picked up Nature's Made Multi-PreNatal. I was looking for the Complete, but they didn't have it, it was the next best I thought. The doc I work for recommended it. They aren't too big, they smell nasty so far no more nausea than I already have. HA HA Has anyone heard anything about Fish Oil for brain developement?

Yeah I try to take fish oil regularly since I'm nursing and my 2 year old takes it too. We get this brand called Carlson. Its flavored so it tastes nothing like fish, just lemon or orange.

How vital is it to start taking them BEFORE you convieve?? I have been taking 800mcg of folic acid since i have been TTC, but should i just go ahead and switch to prenatals instead????

I am not sure how vital it is but I was told to start taking it up to 4 months prior to concieving so thats why I started taking them.

Okay, i figured it couldn't hurt anything. I'll have to look into that!

all prenatal vitamins are mostly the same they all have the same amount of vitamins in them just have diffrent effects from taking them. Like some can make you constipated. Some can give you diareah.
