Do you all think it would be ok to drink a SMALL glass of milk even though i have been vomiting because my chest is on fire from heartburn

Why wouldn't it be ok? Are you allegic to it? If not, then there should be no reason to avoid milk. For some reason I feel like I am missing a big part of your medical history...

i was always told to never drink milk when your stomach is upset because it will more than likely make you throw up. so unless you want to keep throwing up i wouldnt. although i sometimes crave milk when my stomach hurts, i always did throw it right up though. i'm still baffled as to why L&D sent you home on your due date with the symptoms you described in your last post...i'll never understand lol

That is so weird. Milk always makes my upset tummy feel much better. The only time I have ever been told to avoid milk is when you have sinus crap going on because it creates more mucous.

My pediatrician even has me give my daughter warm milk when her tummy is upset.

Milk of Mag actually helps with constipation. But milk coats the stomach like pepto would.

when i was sick my ob told me to avoid any foods that had any dairy in them at all. and whenever we were throwing up our regular doctors always told us that we are never to drink any milk at all. it upsets your tummy even more.

Lets rack this up to another "Doctors opinions vary" situation.
