PAIN PLEASE RESPOND

Ok i have had this pain off and on i thought that it was my hydronephrosis acting up on me again but it is not according to tests tonight it is absolutely horrible it is going on 48 hrs of vomiting and migraine i went to the l&d today they said to go home and rest they gave me medicine for it but I have this excruciating pain from back on my right side that goes under my right breast right where my rib is any idea what this could be i am really tired of vomiting non stop and this pain is really bad HELP SOMEONE ANYONE i go to the drs at 8 tommorow but i dont know what to do for now i am tired of vomiting and the zofran is not helping

i would ring up l&d again. Might be some nice nurses on now. You are due so you never know. I was throwing up 1 day b4 my last bub was born. good luck

Sounds like you have a kidney infection. That can cause horrible pain and vomiting. Did they take a urine sample while you were there?

You are due today? That is scary they sent you home with those symptoms that close to your due date. I would def. call L&D again or your doctor and tell them you are STILL throwing up and having horrible pain. I had that kind of bug not to long ago and my doc gave me some suppositories that helped me sleep and keep fluids down. You NEED to stay hydrated! I just can't believe they sent you home!!!!!

It sounds like it could also be your gallbladder. The pain you described sounds exaclty what my mom had right before she had to have hers out. It is extremely common for women to develop gallstones during pregnancy. Try putting a warm heating pad (no higher than med) on the spot and maybe take a Tylenol. I would def ask your dr to check it tomorrow. Hope this helps and that you feel better!

No its today lol I spoke to them earlier in regards to my migraine and the vomiting and she wanted me to actually take one of my ambiens during the day and just sleep today which i didnt do so im hoping she wanted me to do that because she has plans for me for tommorow

if L&D sent you home, there's probably not much they can do and it must not be an issue. but if today is your due date and you're going to see your dr. tomorrow just try to drink water and relax. you never know what it could be. also just FYI: try to use punctuation when you type, its hard to read otherwise..

L&D is not ALWAYS right to send people home. I just read about the lady they sent home and she had her baby right after! IN HER SWEAT PANT LEG! Dad had to actually catch they baby!
Just listen to your gut and do what you feel is right.... if they send you home again and you don't feel right about leaving just tell them you'll sleep in the waiting room or something

Oh and neither are the midwives on call I called about a lot of pressure and losing my mucus plug the midwife treated me like an idiot for even thinking about calling. Well I got my doctors email a week later emailed him on sunday and they called me monday wanting me to come in right away I guess having pressure isn't always good. So I go in on tuesday to figure out wth is going on.

I had my gallbladder taken out 4 yrs actually but i have heard that it is possible to get stones in the bile ducts still i dont know how true that is though, also i was in the hospital last week and they tested my urine and said it was ok but i have a history of bladder and kidney infections and also stones i have been on antibiotics for the past 2 months to prevent any infection and the recent ultra sound showed no stones so i am thinking maybe its the gravel type that they cannot see maybe? they gave me percocet for my migraine earlier because the fiorcet is just not working and i am hoping that will help my pain from my back into my front until i can go to the dr but this is just not right it took those drs 3 phone calls to call me back i just found my dissolving type of zofran so i am trying that

yea the hospital that i go to has an "er" for pregnant women and they have midwives there they flat out refused the other day to call my dr when i was having a severe flare up of my ibs the midwife was like yea ur having contractions just not in the proper place i was so mad
