Mucos plug

Is it possible for the mucos plug to be stringy at all i could have sworn i lost mine several weeks ago but i have a stringy type thing that came out any idea?

Yes it is possible. That means you're losing it progressively and not so much all at once. You will see more of it.

The mucus plug is what seals your cervix off...and it's just as it sounds...a big clump of mucus. When you start to dilate at the end of your pregnancy, you lose it. Some women lose it gradually, some all at once, and some don't lose it until they are in labor.

Mine came out all at once and it looked like the hugest loogie ever...pretty disgusting really.
