by all means it is NOT OKAY for a FING 15 year old to be trying to get pregnant!! >:[ what are you thinking?!! Dr. Phil just had a show on a girl who was literally obsessed with the idea of becoming pregnant at around the same age..do w/e you can to try and go watch that episode!! hopefully it'll set off what SHOULD be a MAJOR RED FLAG! i know i dont have much room to talk, considering im only 16, but jesus christ   this was neverthe way i saw my life going.i didnt plan this baby but im taking responsibilty for my choicess. please dont be a dumbass and honestly, when you do get yourself pregnant which im sure you will, you seem pretty determined   i hope you own up to your shit and tell everyone you TRIED to make this happen. i dont think you even understand how much its frowned upon.

i dunno how her mama's gonna pay for it, she already has 8 kids of her own.
i think she's doing it for attention. poor child if she actually does get pregnant...

You are so young. Please read this first. It's one of the biggest decisions we make in our lives.

  • TEEN PREGNANCY AFFECTS EVERYONE.

Although the rates are declining, the U.S. still has the highest rates of teen pregnancy, birth, and abortion in
the western industrialized world. Problems related to teen pregnancy cost taxpayers over $7 billion per
    year.1
One in three American girls become pregnant at least once by age 20 — that’s over 820,000 teen pregnancies
    each year.2
TEEN PREGNANCY IS LINKED TO POVERTY AND SCHOOL FAILURE.
Half of all single mothers on welfare were teenagers when they had their first child. 3
Fewer than one-third of teen mothers ever finish high school. This leaves them unprepared for the job market
and more likely to raise their children in poverty. 4
Nearly 80 percent of the fathers of babies born to teen mothers do not marry their babies’ mothers. On average,
these absent fathers pay less than $800 annually for child support.5
CHILDREN OF TEEN MOTHERS SUFFER MOST.
Children of teen mothers are twice as likely to be abused and neglected as are children of older mothers.6
Babies born to teens are at an increased risk of low birth weight and the attending health problems: mental
retardation, blindness, deafness, mental illness, cerebral palsy, and infant death.7
Children of teen mothers are more likely to do poorly in school, more likely to drop out of school, and less
    likely to attend college.8

  • The consequences to the children of teen mothers continue into young adulthood. Girls born to teen mothers
are 22 percent more likely to become mothers as teens themselves and sons of teen mothers are more
likely to end up in jail.9

wellll, fayettville is about, i'd say, an hour and a half away from me(give or take some time).

edited to add-nevermind, lol... i thought i was realclose to fayetteville but my mom just told me that it's almost 4 hours away. i thought i went to the zoo in fayetteville, but turns out it was in asheville, so that's how i got them mixed up

you said you need help with this decision. well i say that it is just not a good one. if you really want to have a child why wont you just go ahead and get married? that would be step one. dont get me wrong i dont think you need to do this either. but if you are making plans here then do it in the right order. but hello if your parents are going to be playing a major part in this then they deserve to be in on the plans since they will be babysitting, buying all the diapers, food and paying for housing till you are old enough to do so yourself, and driving you since you arent old enough to do that yet either. but the fact is that you sound like you need something for sure but i dont think it involves ANY thing that requires responsiblity, dog, child, nothing of the sort. good god. this is not right really i would be pissed to find out that my mother put me in poverty on purpose. planned to bring me into the world before she could care for herself.

When you're 15, do you think you're with the man you're going to be with for the rest of your life? Do you want to put a child through that?
No offense at all to single moms, I'm just saying... 15? C'mon
