I plan on bringing a couple toys 4 him 2 play with but anyone have any other ideas 2 keep him occupied?or anything i might need to know to make life a little easier? thanks!!

I'm not sure about your older child, but I've taken Will a few times cross country and it wasn't too bad. The first time he was 2 weeks old, so I don't think it's too early.

i have flown with my daughter at 4 months from hawaii to vegas, again at 15 months from hawaii and to vegas and another trip to california. and i found the best thing that works is toys, color books and lots and lots of snacks. when we flew the best flight was at night. she slept most of the trip. it was about 6-8 hour flights and once we had to switch planes. but its a experience. hope u have lots of help. my other half helped out so much. and thats with 1 keiki (child) i cant imagine flying with 2.

We fly once a year from Germany to Texas. Our seven year old was 2 months the first time he flew. Since June 2007 we have 2 kids to fly with and it has never been a problem. Our doctor gave us nose drops ( so the ears dont stop up )... for the baby to use during take off and landing. And the bigger one gets chewing gum. I dont know how it is for in country flights. But all of our flights had little tvs so the kiddies could watch cartoons or play games. And dont forget to take something to draw with.

We flew from Cali to NY, and back in December with my 15 month old, and it wasn't too bad. I bought one of those harnessess from walmart, its basically a child leash, but It was awesome to have becasue it gave me the option to let her walk around in between flights. and still have a grasp on her. She would be a little fussy while we waited for the plane to take off, but she would fall asleep during the flight everytime, lol. I took books for her and snacks. Anything to keep her busy.

I have flown many times when my daughters were little. Baby has to be 6wks to fly so he is not to young. The first time I flew with two kids one was 2yrs old and the other 2months. First make sure you pack lots of snacks and toys and activities. I would bring a portable DVD player and her favorite cartoons. You can push your stroller right up to the plane and the flight attendant will take it for you and when you get off the plane even for a lay over they will have sitting there setup waiting for you! (and this way it doesnt count as luggage) As far as babys ears my doctor told me to have her drinking a bottle during take off and landing or atleast sucking on a binky. I only flew from PA to FL, but all the times I was alone and didnt have any help and did just fine. I did get in a arguement with the restroom attendant at atlanta, Ga airport. She got ignorant with me because I pushed my double stroller into the handicapp bathroom and I wasnt handicap, but they didnt have a family restroom and I was by myself so what was I suppose to do. Leave them outside waiting for me to use the restroom? Have a good trip!
