Finding the baby's heartbeat

So I went in for my 3 monthappt today. Everythings is fine so far. The Dr. did tell me that I am a definate c-section.Already knew that.Anyways it was finally time to hear the heartbeat. It took forever forhim to find it. The dr at one point asked if I had an ultrasound done yet. Ihad one done last month.The ultrasound had said that I was 7wks 3days.I started to get really scared. He was telling me not to worry thatit was still pretty early to find it right away.(im almost 14wks) He finally found it. I was sooo happy. Anyways my question is has one else had this problem.I don't remember them having that much trouble finding my other 2s heartbeats.

At my...12 week u/s i think it was, my dr had to reach up and manipulate my uterus to get the heartbeat on the doppler. yeah, i was in tears. took him awhile, with his arm in there, and the nurse using the doppler on my belly, but they finally got it. i was freaking out tho.

Yup with Mikaila we weren't able to find it with the doppler till 17 weeks she was a squirmy little thing.. I went in at 14 weeks this time around and it took a minute or so then she found it. With Mikaila the Dr. told me it was cause she was tiny and wouldn't quit moving around.. Then we saw her in the US screen moving everywhere

At my 18 week appointment, it took them foreeeeeverrrr to find the little heartbeat! It had me pretty nervous! But all is well, my little one was just moving around alot so it was hard to catch him/her!

I had the same trouble except i was 12 weeks and my midwife couldnt find the heartbeat and ordered a emergency u/s and the baby was fine it was just that i have a tilted uterus but we finally heard the heartbeat with the doppler a week later. its just depends on where the baby is and if its hiding

At my 12 week we weren't able to hear a heartbeat...I was so nervous ....we had an emergency ultrasound and everything was fine...the BPM was 173 and we were able to get our second picture : ) I go back on Monday and am really hoping we will be able to hear the heart beat then...

My Dr. had a lil bot of trouble finding my babe's heartbeat at my last appt on Monday and I am 38wks. My lil guy was just lying on the opposite side of where he had the wand.

The first time they used the doppler on me I was 9 weeks and it took a little while. Every time since then, it's been right when they put the stick on my belly.
