Okay, dilemma!
Hubby likes names like "Luke" and "Otis"
But I like names like "Holden" "Maddox" "Ever" and "Baylor"

Do you guys have ideas for UNboring traditional names?

I've always loved the name "Holden" after Holden Cauffield (spelling?) personally, but with that name, he's sure to be teasted because people will say "well, what are you holding?" (And you know what they're referring to). I really love Maddox, personally...........

What about Maddox Otis? That way both you and your husband are happy with his name.

Good luck!

Thanks! i think it's a good comprimise too, but he says no! His kid wont have a "gay" name. And Otis is just not rubbing me the right way. I'd make it a middle name, but not a first name!

lol, I feel like i should let him choose cos I for the girl I told him if her name HAS to be Lydia or I'm leaving him. lol. Imma bitch!

Well Maddox is definitely not a so-called "gay name"....kind of like the former Cubs' starting pitcher 'Greg Maddux.' That's why I'm partial to that name! LOL! But good luck TTC and chosing your future baby's name!

Well, I wanted the name "Noah" (I love biblical names) and my husband said that it's a dog's name....he's never known a dog with that name, by the way! HAHA!

Maddox is Angelina Jolie's lil boy's name. Otis makes me think of Otis Spunkmeyer cookies. Luke is nice. Holden...emm...on the fence.

A dog's name!! GASP!! I'm sorry but your hubby is crazy he, he! I love Noah personally, that's one of the names that I've been entertaining in my head, as well as Baylor! I think what some of the other girls have mentioned with putting the names together, first and middle sound nice!! Wish I had some more suggestions for you but I'm all over the place myself!
