# of ultrasounds!!??

has anybody had more than 3 ultrasounds throughout there pregnancy? i heard you're not supposed to have more than 2 but i've had about 3-4 already!

I am high risk so I have had 2 already and going on my third in 2 weeks...

Are you high risk?

I'v already had 3 and I'm getting my 4th one done on Feb. 5th to find out what I'm having! 

i had 5 all together but i just know the ultra sound tech at my hospital and she does them under the table for me hehehe-Keleigh

I've had 8 and 2 in the last 2 wks...but I'm also on bedrest due to preterm labor and I get a cervical US everytime I go in. But I had 5 before the preterm labor thing.

I had 9...and would have had about 14 if I had made it to term. Ultrasounds are safe. If they weren't, high risk doctors wouldn't make you MORE high risk by doing them...

depends on what your insurance will pay for

I have had three so far.. I am high risk..

I've had four already, not sure how many more I will get. I think it just depends on your doctor, and how many they want done.

I've had 4 so far. but it's b/c my little girl is stubborn and won't help the tech out with all the pics she needs. My 2nd us(when we found out the gender) should have taken about 30-45 minutes but madie wasn't having it and we were in there for about a hour and a half lol. She refused to roll over so the tech could try to take some measurements lol. And this last time(still trying to get all the pics needed) I swear you could see her little forehead wrinkle in a "will you leave me alone i'm trying to nap here" face lol.

with my last son before i m/c i had had 3 by 13 weeks. i am probably going to have that many this time too but i have fibroids so they need to make sure they arent pushing on my uterus....

I had one at ten weeks to find out how far along I was, and another at 18 for the fetal anatomy exam. Pretty sure that's all I get.

Most women only have 2 becuase thats all their insurance pays, and if everythings normal, thats all they need. I've had complications though, so I've had 12 so far.
