Medela is your best bet... they are pricey.

I have an Avent manual pump.

this is what i used and it was pretty good.. (ALTHOUGH I HATED PUMPING) http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2901999. One thing i hated about this is that its kinda bulky. They didn't have this when I had my baby boy; and if price doesn't matter, I would suggest http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2901995. The actual pump is separate from the bag. Much easier to carry around. What ever you do don't buy a hand pump. It takes forever and it HURTS. Also check ebay for better prices.. Hope it helps

Are you just going to be pumping on occasion because if so I suggest you just get a cheap manual pump. If you are going to be pumping regularly I definitely suggest the Ameda Purely Yours Double Electric breastpump. You caan purchase it online at a decent price and it works GREAT. I pump a couple times a day while I'm at work and I have never had a problem

If you are going to be returning back to work after the baby is born then you will need to pump every 3-4 hours if possible. I do it in a private bathroom at work. It's a pain in the butt but worth it. Are you going to be working?

Will you be able to pump while working?
Even if you are going to be pumping only once a day I suggest an electric breastpump. There are plenty of sites that have reviews also. I read a ton of them when I was pregnant.

If you are willing to spend that much then look at amazon.com or ebay.com for the Ameda Purely Yours. It really is amazing
