The only thing i'd be careful about is if he has an allergy to nuts... Just make sure you are keeping an eye on him.

I think that they say not to give peanut butter/peanuts too early. Causing allergies.. Ask the pediatrician...

Our pediatrician says NO NUTS until age 2!

Aren't there other cute things he can do? (I am sure there are...)

Peanut butter is the number 1 choking hazard, not to mention the potential life-threatening allergy.

my step-dad gave my daughter pb n j sandwiches when she was less then a year. It scared me cause they say you shouldn't but she didn't get a allergic reaction. Just watch him for signs jsut in case he has a allergy. It can be scary.

google it. Mostly hives, rashes, he can't breathe right, swelling. Just keep an eye on him, And if he doesn't have a reaction then it is probably an idea not to feed it to him a little later. But talk to your doctor next time you see him/her. If he doesn't have a allergy to peanut butter it might be his new favorite food.

you're not supposed to let any baby under 1 year eat nut because it could cause them to develop food allergies that they will have for the rest of their lives.
