Itchy herpes?

Does anyone know how to stop herpes from itching so bad?
I have herpes simplex.virus (the cold sore kind) but around my anus  
I dont get blisters or anything its just always.dry and itchy

And yes im sure its herpes simplex(cold.sores) ive had culture and bloood test to.confirm

Have you tried prep h and just keeping it moisturized?

Sorry hon.. I know nothing about herpes.. but can you take some benadryl?

um there IS no blood test for herpes- culture only- I have genital herpes and if it is in your anal area it is not simplex ONE it is simplex 2. and you need to get Zovirax cream RX or Zovirax pills for breakouts.

I got it b4 I had oral or anal sex.and DH doesnt have it

I was going to say... I had to do a research paper on herpes about 3 years ago, and as I recall simplex one is only cold sores of the mouth. simplex 2 is below the belt. but in all reality it's all the same! herpes is herpes.

I don't know much about herpes, but can you take some kind of medication for it? Like I have seen commercials for meds for herpes, but that was kind of a long time ago.

Acidopholis is really good for your reproductive health and women's parts.. but I don't know that it would do much for herpes. You could try it.. you can get it health stores in pill form or eat yogurt (not the kind that is loaded with sugar - brands like Mountain High or Greek.) Maybe you can try taking a warm sitz bath?

SOME people have a sense of humor - and I dont knwo about you but when someone tlaks of herpes I think it calls for a joke intermission - you know since she is having anal itching she may need a laugh or two - GEEZE never thinking about other peoples feelings ARE YOU????

yes, actually there is now. And yes- you CAN get either virus either place.. it just is harder to transmit that way.

hmm i use toothepaste to dryem out wen i get one on my lip lol.. idk if thats ok 4 ur booty tho....
