re: Babies born at 35-36 weeks?

i had my daughter (due to pre-eclampsia) at exactly 36 weeks weighing in at 5lbs and 6 ounces.
she went home when i went home. she was a little jaundice but it went away after 2-3 weeks and now she weighs 7lbs and 4 ounces.

Our first son was born at 34 weeks and was in the hospital for 2 weeks.
Our second son was 34 weeks and came home the very same day.

I had my baby girl at exactly 37 weeks I was induced thats the reason I had her then but my baby was healthy as she wanted to be and came home when I did but my labor story is in birth announcement forum under Anaya Jaleigh.

My son was born on Feb. 6,2008. I was 35 weeks and 5 days. My son only had alittle jaundice and needed alittle help to breath at birth but that was it. He weighed 7 pounds 6ounces.

He was with me theall thetime. He didnot need NICU at all. Thank God 

My son was born at 37 weeks and he stayed in the hospital for a week because he was only 4lbs but he is home now and almost 2 weeks old i think it depends on how developed they are and if they can eat on there own and what not. now he's weighing 4lbs 7 oz he's gonna be a tiny baby for a while

my son was born 36weeks and 6days... he was considered a premie because he had a really hard time keeping his body temp and had some trouble breathing for the first day.. he was under the heat lamp for 2 days.. but the 3rd day he was doing better and they let us go home. my son had a wii bit of jaundice i think but it cleared up in a couple weeks.

edit: oh he weighed 5lbs and 15oz, and dropped down to 5lbs 11oz

I had twin boys at 32w5d. They were 3lbs 12 oz and 4lbs 1 oz. Neither one was on a vent and both are absolutely gorgeous and healthy. They stayed in the NICU for ten days to make sure we could suck, swallow, and breathe at the same time and regulate body temp on their own. I must tell you they are almost 5 months old and both over 15 lbs and absolutely perfect. They have started on solid foods already and love them. Good luck with your baby and hope all goes well!

i had my oldest at 35 1/2 weeks she came home with me.. i stayed in the hospital for 4 days but it was because i had a few complications..But im having my 3rd n they dont expect me to go farther then 35 weeks...But i hope everyhting goes good for u n ur little one

i had my oldest at 36 weeks 1 day and she wasalmost 8lbs..some weight for the fact i still had 4weeks left..but she didnt haveany problems she went home wheni did..im preggers wiht my 3rd n im35 weeks tuesdayn not expected to go past37 weeks i have been having contractions since 30 weeks. n im thinning n dialated..

y baby was just born at 36 and 6 and he has the funny breathing. his in the nicu at mcmaster on the c-pap and has the breathing tube. he was 7lbs and 4ozs. I was told that its really common around the 36 week period. No word on how long he will be in.

I just had my daughter two weeks ago at 35 4/7 and she came home with me.

click to enter text I had my son 4 weeks ago at 30 weeks 6 days he spent 22 days in NICU was born at 3lbs 1oz had to be on cpap for two days then on room air. He's perfectly healthy just tiny. We brought him home at 3lbs 14oz he's doing great! No worries.

I had my son at 36 weeks 3 days. And he ended up being air lifted to a children hospital within a few hours. He was on a ventilator for a while. He spent 9 days there... Though they wanted to keep him longer because he started having his heart speed up. SO he went home on a heart monitor. Had alot of problems with being jaundice. Took him a month to get over. But at the one month mark he was all clear. He's 3 1/2 now... and only problem he's got is really bad acid reflux, from the ventilator. I went into early labor due to hubby being deployed, and was heading into a very dangerous area. So I stressed myself out badly! But he' fine now.. and a bit of a monster! hehe.

Oh and he was 7 pound 11 oz... Biggest baby there! Hubby's CO didn't believe he was a preemie at all. Until he talked to my sons NICU doctor.
