That was my biggest fear too. Try to look at it as: the chance of them finding something that will give you answers (in my case, blocked tubes) is well worth the risk of them finding nothing. It's really the best way to know for 100% what is going on in there. Still stressful though. *Hugs*

Thank you for these words.

Once they make sure that this is EXACTLY what's causing my infertility, it is reversible, but it's more testing. Uuugh. But it's nice to know whats going on and moving in a forward direction

Hi ladies. So I had my post op appointment on Monday.
Everything is healing the way it should, which is good. Unfortunately the final surgery report wasn't as reassuring as I'd thought. It showed that my tube is damaged because it's filled with fluid? Apparently this type of blockage can't be fixed, and the fluid from the tube is known to excrete and irritate the uterus/make it difficult for an embryo to implant. So although one tube is clear... We are still in the smurfs The bad tube will have to be removed before we do any treatments.
I know we will eventually get through this but it's so hard. I try everyday to look on the bright side but I'm heartbroken. Dh and I have decided to wait until after the holidays to move on to the next step. A miracle between now & then would be fantastic.
Thanks for listening ladies

Thanks Ashleigh I appreciate that, It means a lot to hear it from someone who is going through the same struggle and truly understands.
I have to do some insurance homework to see if they will cover the surgery. If so, I'd like to get it over with after the holidays so we can move onto treatments. Feels like a never ending process / waiting game. I'm sure you can relate!

So I had my laprascopic surgery yesterday, today I'm very very sore. I've have to say I'd rather have another dnc as far as the pain wise.
Update: they found endo, and.adhesions/scar tissue (from my c section.Dr said)
What was found was done away with. as best as possible. I also got lots of pictures of it which grosses some ppl out but for me im interested.
My aunt with me to surgery. She has.endo also she had 3 living children, 5 documented mc& had full hysterectomy.at 30 yrs. While I was recovering she spoke with my Dr about her experience with needs and more of my history.
Although I didn't get the clean bill of health,.I left the hospital with relief knowing I left with answers!
And I have faith in this Dr. I hope he'll help me with getting my wish
And for the rest of you.baby & sticky dust ****
One thing I'd suggest if your Dr won't listen, don't seem to care that you feel somethings wrong then get a second opinion,.3rd. Opinion whatever it takes.don't know what stage my endo is. .but when I mentioned about my infertility at my last clinic they said they would do anything till I was 30 years old!! .i wasn't taking that answer at all. They made me cry and never bothered to ask why, they didn't ask why I was crying,.why I was upset. They treated me as nothing was wrong, no tears flowing from my eyes, they carried on as if EVERYTHING.was fine. That office is where I. Went when I had my first pregnancy/loss & was well aware that I had lost 2.
Anyways, I have a F/u appt in 2 Weeks so figure out the best next step for me.
