advice?

hey ladies. I was hoping I could get some advice. First of all, I'm just over 27 weeks. For the past hour and a half I've been having this sharp pain in the lower left side of my stomach. It almost feels like someone is stabbing me at a downward angle and it hurts in my butt as well. The pain isn't constant but whenever I move it hurts and walking is very uncomfortable. I was thinking it could be braxton hicks contractions but I don't know what those feel like so I'm not sure. Everyone I've asked says during BH your stomach gets tight and mine is not. The baby is moving but not half as much as he normally does. I'm getting worried that maybe there is something wrong. Does anyone know what this could possibly be? Sorry if this is a stupid question, I'm new at this and pretty nervous! Thanks in advance girls.

I would say that it is round ligament pain....that stuff can be downright painful! And it can travel to your vaginal or anal area.....I get those alot.
If you super worried....go get checked at L&D or call the doctor in the morning.

Definately sounds like round ligament pain! It is something we all eventually go through, the pulling and stretching that feels like someones ripping your muscles apart. Drink lots of water, put your feet up, try to lay down and rest, and take a warm bath. You can also take tylenol if it helps. If you are worried put call into the doc tomorrow, but most likely there's nothing else they can do except tell you what we've already told you. Sorry, it sucks I know! Hope you get to feeling better
