My baby is sick!

My 5 month old is so sick. I've had a bad cold the past 5 days and I gave it to her. Last night her temp got up to 102.5. I called the doctor and ofcourse, they told me to give her Children's Tylenol. He said if it gets above 103, to give her Children's Motrin. I was up all night taking her temp. Her temp is down to 99 today but I can tell she feels terrible. Her poor little eyes are all red and her nose is runny. She's hardly smiling at all. It sucks there's not more I can do for her. I wish they made cold medicine for babies. I know how terrible I felt when I was sick and Tylenol wasn't going to cut it. I feel terrible that she got sick from me. There wasn't much I could do though. I had to take care of her because her dad had to work. Is there anything else I can do to make her more comfortable?

try running the hot water in your bathroom and close the doors, the humidity may help, im sorry your babys sick =[ that must really suck i hope she feels better soon !!

my son just got over being sick, sounds like they had the same thing but i didnt do anything, my sons fever also got up to 102 but i never gave him meds for it, just lots of cuddles a suckie and made sure he was getting fluids

I just gave her a luke warm bath. It seems to have helped a lot. She doesn't feel nearly as warm. She's now having a bottle. I know she won't drink much of it but I'm just happy she's taking it. The doctor told me to give her pedialyte but she will not drink that stuff.
