Icy hot?

This may be a really stupid question, but is it okay to use Icy-hot when you're pregnant??

gosh i hope so... i used it the other night on my shoulder, forgot all about being pregnant. i just remembered that.

icy hot saved my life......where in oklahoma are you from?

and i say icy hot is safe.....as long as you aren't doing dumb things with it. like eating it. or using it as lube.

I was told No, they told me they would rather me put a heating pad or take tylenol

Actually heating pads are a no-no.

I was told not to even use my heated mattress pad, not just for my stomach but something about over heating other body parts possibly causing labor?....I don't remember now.

I guess I can see that if I stretch my imagination...a heating pad will relax things and in labor you're supposed to relax. But...hmm...well I use a heating pad on my mid to upper back to help with the back pains of pregnancy. And I use an electric blanket at night b/c my hubby likes things colder than I do!
