Anyone use Loestrin 24 Fe?

I'm going to start taking Loestrin on Sunday, 'cause the Depo Privera was horrible.

I was just wondering if any of you use/have used Loestrin, and if you like/don't like it.

i hate the depo! mine has been worn off almost 2 months...and im still having messed up periods! i have a tiny bit of spotting everyday, but no real period yet, so i just dont knw if i should test or not, cuz of how much it messed my body up!

Yeah I got the depo 3 months ago and I bled pretty much every day up until two weeks ago. Laaame.

and it REALLY sucks as my husband and i were TTC before he left for deployment. if the depo screwed up my system like we think it did and it didnt work, we will ahve till wait till he gets back in june! dammit!

I used it before I got pregnant and I liked it,it had a lower dose of hormones so the side effects were not as bad for me.

Yeah, I've heard some pretty bad things about depo and fertillity.

I didn't trust depo at all.. I even asked the doc to give me a pregnancy test 'cause I didn't think it worked at all and just made me really moody, gave me headaches and made me bleed a lot.

my ass of a doc didnt even tell me about therisk of infertility until AFTER she gave it to me! and ske KNEW my husband and i were TTC in December and were justing using the depo for a 3 month window before we tried for another. pisses me off! ugh!

Depo can take 6 months to a year to fully let your body get back to normal from what i understand I had it about 4 years ag and haed the crap. And it took me i think 5 months before i was normal again with out the daily spotting with regular periods.
Loestrin is ok..... i think the hormones in it are not strong enough for my body. If i miss ONE pill i literally start bleeding by the next morning (i take my pill at 9pm)and it last 3-4 days so its pretty much like i have a period. hormones are different for everyone, but that is my personal ecperience. other than that i like it i have no wierd side effects, i havent gained weight on it, it isnt making it hard for me to lose weight, nothing silly... just the bleeding but if i ake all my pills on time i have problems with spotting or anything.
I used to have the nuva ring before we stopped BC before i got prego with my son and i liked it alot. It is meant to be inserted for 3 weeks then out for a week then a new one. But each ring has enough medicine for 4 weeks and you can take it out and leave it out for up to an hour and then put it back in and it doesnt disrupt the medicine. some people think that one is gross because you are the one that has to put it in and take it out, but its really not that bad. It took 6 months after i stopped it to get pregnant so if you are looking for something to hold you for a few months before you ttc that may not be a good one and you would pobably want to stick to a pill. Im not a dr or anything, and this information is just from my own experience ive had. A pill that i really like and took all through high school was microgestine (that is the generic and i probably spelled it wrong) but on that one i never had an issue with "tween" bleeding, spotting, weight gain, nothing. it was my favorite and my dr is a biotch and when i asked for it se told me she reccomended loestrine more.... shows what she knows   GL

i got pregnant on that pill.

This stuff does NOT work... not for me anyways... I got pregnant while taking it....

Loestrin 24 Fe sucks.....i don't know if it was just me....but it threw my hormones all out of wack, i gained like 20 lbs reeally fast after starting them. I eventually stopped and lost the weight. Wouldn't recommend it.

Well, I've been on it for 4 days and no problems for me yet!
