Baby lotion/baby oilworks wonders after bathes. I've heard so many stories from my momma about how bad I had it when I was little so I know that's one thing she used on me and I'll use on my little one when she's here.

The doc told me to use selsum blue shampoo on him, so i do. I hate it though because it stinks and I dont get to enjoy the sweet baby smell after baths!
but its still here... he's had it since december.

What worked for us was putting baby oil in his hair at bed time to soak. Then washing it in the morning with his baby shampoo and using the bristle baby brush. Then I put Aveeno baby lotion on his head. I only had to do it once and it was gone. I still use the bristle baby brush at every bath just in case though

I used olive oil too. I left it on over night and then bathed him in the morning and it would be nice and loose.

I was told dandruff shampoo 2x's a week and it would be gone within 8 wks at MAX.
I bought the generic version of Heads & Shoulders and used it a few times and Hailey's cradle cap disappeared !!
I spent 6 months using Cradle Cap Hair, Oils, Lotions, Brushing her hair with no signs of it going away. A few times of using the other stuff and its GONE.

I used baby oil on her cradle cap while she was in her bath. You really have to scrub with your nails. And then I shampooed it again to get the baby oil out..

One night while I was nursing my daughter, I had her little baby comb by my chair so I started kind of softly scraping her head with it and got just about all of it off, and she never even woke up. Of course it's not all the way gone, but I've found just scraping it GENTLY with her comb does wonders. At least it's not that thick, yellow scaly stuff anymore.
I read that someone used Head and Shoulders? I might try that...I'm kind of afraid that it will get in her eyes though!
Oh, and I've tried the baby oil and olive oil treatments...and all it did was make her hair super greasy. She has a lot of hair.

You can use the baby oil is what i did with my son. You put baby oil on the spots and let it sit for a little in the hair and then use the comb and start picking at it gently. It will probably take more then one time to do it. I had to do it two or three times before it all got out.
