I'm aiming for 24 months ish, althoug I'll probably wean before Christmas when he's around 20 months (so we can try for number 2) and tbh I need a couple months break before going for round 2. I'll happily tandem nurse if he's keen but he'll be 2 1/2 - 3 so I don't expect it to happen.

I'm currently looking into becoming a Breastfeeding support worker. I really hope they'll let me do the course even though I'm 16.

I think it'll help me when I work as a midwife, none of mine knew a thing about Breastfeeding.

None of your midwives knew about breastfeeding? That's ridiculous lol.

WHere are you going to take classes? I would love to take some just for my self, not to pursure a career (I'm working on my associates in Social Work right now) but just so I know more. Maybe I'd volunteer somewhere, but IDK.

I want to tandem nurse so bad   Like, I don't even know why, I guess it's just a way of me saying "I want another baby in two years" I guess.

I just want that experience, but I'm not even thinking about TTC until I've got my bachelors, I think, so who knows :\

Finally a place I can talk about my breastfeeding problem.

LO has a bad latch, I've tried everything to fix it but it's still bad and it's messing with my supply. I've talked to two different LCs and now I'm taking Fenugreek and pumping to keep my supply up. We are going on 6 months breastfeeding and I want to at least make it to a year but I'm getting worried. Any suggestions?

is she teething? I heard that can change their latch and make it uncomfortable.

I know its a bad latch because I've talked to lactation consultants. She is gaining weight but at her last doc appt the doctor told me she was underweight. I can tell she isn't getting enough by the way she freaks out when she is eating. And I know the mamas on here know a lot.

I thought it was teething but she is fine while eating and then she freaks out so I switch boobs and she eats and then freaks again

Well, my dr has told me that my LO is on the low end, almost underweight, I've seen the same thing with many other BF babies. Me and my brother were so "underweight" that my mother was told to feed us butter (she later found out that both doctors in two seperate states were using growth charts provided by formula companies, so you may wnat to look into that, too).

How is she freaking out? If you're pumping and taking fenugeek in addtion to BFing her, couldn't it be an OVERsupply issue at this point, where your let down is frustrating her?
