I know how you feel about wanting the baby to be higher up or feeling like the baby should be higher up. I recieved my doppler thing in the mail probably 3 weeks ago and the baby seems to still be in the same spot. They say by 18 or 20 weeks the baby have outgrown the uterus instead of floating around in there so she'll only be able to be at the top. Hope that makes sense.

I see people are starting to feel there baby move. Yesterday I felt like someone was poking me with a stick in my side and when I went to feel it, it was really hard for a few seconds and then it would go away. It happened twice, so I think its the baby but I am not sure. I hope so...I got excited!

I understand what your going through because my husband was that way with our 1st child so I learned to keep it to myself, because I don't want him feeling left out and especially my girls they are 7 and 9, but I don't want them upset that they can't feel anything. So right now it's my little secret and I am enjoying it all by myself. i will wait a couple of more months or until the come right out and ask me if I can feel the baby moving to tell them. Right now my husband ask me everyday how his "son" is doing. I just say usually say just fine or giving mommy heart burn or sometimes the blues.

Louie's girl - Thanks. It is funny you mention jealousy because I am jealouse that you are all showing. I am still comfortably in my regular jeans. I am so long bodied and I carry so low that it takes me forever to show like 20 weeks. And I go through an awkward period of just looking like I am getting fat and not pregnant.

Again Congrats to all that are starting to feel their little pumpkins move.

So I walked into work today wearing a new dress and everyone has mentioned how pregnant I look. It's kinda funny cuz they see me everyday and just noticed today. I guess cuz it's not a maternity dress and kinda fitted to the body I show a little more. But it's just been the past few days that i've gotten my bump.

I remember you posting that a while back, that's where I got it from! LOLAt least with being longer bodied you probably don't get as big. My older sister is 5'11'' and she didn't look a day over seven months a few days before giving birth. I got huge with Alaina. I just posted a picture of it. Two days before she was born. Unbelievably, no stretch marks on my belly, just my legs and hips. At least they are the white kind. I can live with them. I gained 80 pounds while I was pregnant with her. Alot of water. Within two weeks 55 pounds were already gone. I couldn't even wear my shoes anymore. I wore slippers and flip flops all the time.

I haven't felt anything either. There have been a couple of times that I thought maybe I felt a little brush or something, but it's so quick and over with that I can't say for sure.

That doesn't even look like you in that pregnancy picture from your little girl.

I'm in the 'chubby' stage right now. It kinda sucks, but I know it won't be too long until I feel like I look pregnant. My pants still fit though because of the weight I've lost. I mostly wear lounging pants though. My jeans arn't tight or dig in or anything, they just put an uncomfortable pressure on my stomach that makes me nausous.

I know, I look like crap. I felt like crap too. By that point I was ready for her to have been born for months! I gained so much fluid that their was a point where my doctor wanted to induce me. We decided that as long as the baby was fine we wouldn't. I was going in a few timesa week towards the end for fetal monitoring. She was always healthy so I had to bear through it. I could barely do anything. I sure hope that doesn't happen again. The second trimester was the only enjoyable time during the whole pegnancy.

It seemed to me that I had started showing really quickly. Now I seem a bit smaller. ? I think maybe I was constantly consitipated and full of gas that my belly wasdistended. Now I have a smaller belly but have weighed the same for weeks. I had gained 10 pounds almost immediately, but have just stayed there. I can't figure it out. I do feel better, so it must have been constipation and gas. I would also wake up looking pretty normal (prepregnant), but by the end of they day look big.

Gee, I am so confused. I feel like I don't know my own body. I've done this (being pregnant) before, but I was so young and it was so long ago. I will feel better next week when I have an u/s and doc appointment so they can tell me what's going on with my body.

sorry, i have been out for awhile...my car kinda blew up, so i have been taking the bus, biking and the train...god bless public transport!

anyway, about this photo, it is a total photoshop fake....you CAN see movement through the uterus, however, you would not be able to make out details such as toes or fingers......just a heads up!
