sandi: i was like that with my son for a really long time he always stayed really low and everything was ok .when he got a little biger he would hide in my hip bones ouch!!! and they had a hard time finding him i had so many us with him it was not even funny

It is very possible. Last week I felt the baby for the very first time.We were on vacation and so I was the most relaxed than I have been since I found out I was pregnant and was laying back on a lounge chair at the beach just a complete peace and I noticed after a while I kept feeling this flutter like feeling and I didn't really pay attention and then something just clicked and I know I was feeling the baby.

I love this part. So everyone is coming to the point that we will be feeling our babies move and it is so exciting that we get to share it with eachother.

can yall describe what the movement feels like? i think i felt a flutter yesterday but im not sure since this is my first child. i know it wasnt gas... or at least not any gas that ive had so far!

So as for the baby moving, I think I felt the little one last night. After I was done eating I was laying on the couch watching tv and it felt like little bubbles popping about 3 finger widths under my belly button. It was as if someone had their tiny hand in my uterus and was finger drumming. I've never felt anything like it before and I am perfectly aware of what gas feels like, especially since being pregnant. What do the more experienced mom's think about this?

Amanda that it actually kind of what I was going to say. It feels like a light movement of brushing/tapping fingers. Once you have felt it you realize how distinct that it is, and it is something that you never forget and it only gets better.

I was pretty positive that it was the little pumpkin, but figured i'd check with you more experienced momma's that have actually felt it before. My bf was telling me it was probably just gas, but I told him definitely not. I know what gas feels like and it was different. I felt it while I was at the computer at first and then when I was laying on the couch I felt it again, but more obvious. It was like baby was knocking on my abdominal wall, going "hello out there, why aren't we sleeping yet??" It was very nice. =D

Thanks a bunch Pea N a Pod. It's so exciting! I can't wait for all the other mommies to experience all this wonderful stuff. The actual "fun" parts of pregnancy. Pretty soon, in about a month (give or take) we'll all be finding out what we're having!!!

congrats to you too amanda! i was so nervous at first when i felt my little one move because i had never felt that before but i felt it again early this morning when i couldnt sleep! it was so amazing! hubby is getting mad though because he cant feel it yet and he feels "left out" of the pregnancy. hopefully when he sees the baby on the ultrasound that we have coming up that will make him feel a little better!
