bleeding...again.

I had a dnc on December 21st and i bleed for 2 and a half weeks afterwards and im bleeding, again, and its heavy just like after the dnc. really heavy and clotting. is this normal? the cramps are really bad, like i can hardly move bad, ive been taking the pain killers the doc gave me from the dnc but i dont want to become dependent on those. i just want to cry im so sick of all this.

I would call your doctors office.

You shouldn't wait. That sound like a major sign of infectiona and if you do have an infection you could end up not being able to have babies, and it's not worth that, ya know? I am sorry for your loss by the way!! Just hurry and get to a doctor b.c it sounds serious!!!

I don't know this for sure. but maybe its your period,My first one after my d&c was pretty heavy, and I have heard other girls say there first period after there d&c was just like having the m/c all over again, heavy bleeding and clotting. Try not to get too freaked out yet untill you talk to the doctor. But its sound like your period is here to me.

Im really hoping that that is all that it is...it just sucks cuz i feel like im going through the miscarriage all over again.

I think you are ok to wait until your doc's apt this afternoon! Unless you have a fever or a very foul odor coming from the discharge then there is probably no infection. Irregularity is very common after you have a D&C until your cycle gets back on track.

Are you soaking through a pad in less than 15 minutes?

no. i went to the doctor tuesday and they put implanon in my arm(its a birth control implant) and it made the bleeding turn into spotting in less than 24hrs.
