when i was giving birth i basically had to be cut all the way.. and i have plenty of stitching in that area (not sure how many because i was so tired but my fiancee said it was a lot)
and now im soo sore =[
i was wondering how long it usually lasts

mine didn't last too long, maybe a week or so. I attribute part of that to wearing depends instead of pads. They aren't as thick and don't rub against the stitches as much. feel better!

ouch! I had 2 stitches with my first, I can't remember how long it lasted. sit in lukewarm water for a bit, it helps with the soreness

try and stay off your feet as much as possible the less you do the quicker youll heal...I know its hard just havin a new one but take lots of breaks..I didnt tear that bad with my first only like 4 stitches but the pain doesnt last that long or it shouldnt.

I forgot....
a bag of frozen peas will be your best friend
and use a sitz bath.
