re: Angel baby tattoos (in AS)

This wasn't a debate about whether they should be considered angels.

I would say it depends on the circumstances....

I have definitely been thinking about doing it. i lost my first angel to an abortion.. i regret it everyday.. I would love to get a tattoo for my angels (1 lost to abortion and 1 lost to miscarriage)

I know, but why can't someone honor their loss with an "angel" symbol tattoo? Is it still not an angel?

This is how I feel. I was young, scared, and pressured when I had mine and I regretted it form the moment it was over. I was anti-depressants for a year after it happened and I had a very serious turn of life choices.

if she wants to get a tattoo she should absolutely be able to....no one else has the right to tell someone else how to mourn

and even though she chose the abortion a loss is still a loss...

My question was asking those who have had abortions if they would personally get one.

I wouldn't. But I have a friend who did and it is a beautiful tattoo just not something I would do.

Exactly i was pressured into it not only by my family but my therapist who i was going to because of my depression. Ive regretted it since it was happening jus laying there trying to say stop and no but no words would come out because i was crying so much... i no ive taken that life away but no matter what they are still my angel.
