preemclampsia-24 hour urine collection

At Friday's 35 week check-up, I was put on bedrest for the weekend for highg blood pressure and she gave me a jug to do the 24 hour urine collection testing for prtein in my urine.?? Anyone else have to do this? Anyone have or had preemclampsia?

Preemclamsia can be dangerous for you and the baby but you are def on the righttrack by seeing you doctor.

i had to do that but it was when i was only 5 weeks, so i dont know about your sitiation but i am sorry to hear that you are on bedrest, that sucks i have been there before to.

I've had to do a 24 hour urine collection many times,but havent come back with preemclampsia

I had to do the 24 hour test and it came back fine ..GOOD LUCK

They asked me to do the 24 hr test, but I never did it... During labor I ended up with preeclampsia and it was horrible. Symptoms were developing slowly all along and I never knew so make sure you do it

I definitely will. But I gotta tell you ladies....I am so sick and tired of peeing into cups and pouring it into a jug that I have to keep in my fridge....yuck!!!

Today is my day for this crazy urine collecting ordeal! I know how you feel...I am 33 weeks along and it kind of worries me! If my blood pressure was high yesterday, I can only imagine what it is today after staying up all night worrying about it all!
