trip to L&D

I went bowling on Friday night with a bunch of friends, but I was starting to feel like shit so I had my mom come pick me up. I got home and started puking like crazy, so she called my dr who told me to go the the hospital just to make sure I didn't get dehydrated. We got there about 3:30 in the morning, and they hooked me up to the baby monitors as well as a saline drip. Turns out I was having contractions like crazy which made me get sick since I also had the flu to begin with.
They checked my cervix and I went from being only 1 cm at the dr's that morning to being 4 cm's by about 5 in the morning on saturday. They kept me there all day, but then finally sent me home around 4 in the afternoon cuz I wasn't making any progress. The dr was joking around cuz I have an appt with her on Wed. She kept telling me I probably wouldn't make it to then, but who knows.

Neither could I... my mom and boyfriend both thought yesterday was going to be the day. But I guess the baby will come when it wants to, although I'm still having mad contractions. They just aren't close enough together as of yet.

I was feeling the same way just about all weekend, but didn't go to L&D even though Andy kept bugging me to. I get contractions once in awhile, maybe 5 an hour but they're not too painful or consistent. But sometimes they get nauseating.... Still no progress on my part though, maybe a little more softening but that's it. I think goobers going to be stubborn and still come out late. But hey, good luck to you! Hope you have your baby soon!
