Curious

Most of the May Mommies know what we are having and feeling. What are the plans for the nurseries? This my third but my first little girl. I am going with butterflies and ladybugs. I am still collecting stuff for the room. And,still working on the boys room. We are moving them into one room together. I wish we had the money to move to a 4 bedroom so that they could have their own rooms. I grew up sharing a room with my sister which was not that bad.

well i dont have an extra room so the baby is going to sleep in my room. and me and alex decided to go with a jungle theme...

I'm due at the end of Feb.

We're having a little girl. We're going with a japanese cherry blossom theme.

the colors are going to be a creamy tan, chocloate brown and shades of pink.

For Kaden, I did the safari theme. Kyle, he had the sports theme. Right now doing their room together it is going to be a lot of everything.

I loved that theme. That is going to be so pretty.

It's a girl!   Kaydence Leann. Her nursery is going to be Noah's Ark... the bedding itself is sort of a neutral beige and aqua but have touches of gold and maroon that we're pulling in throughout the room in lamps, etc. I can't wait to start setting the nursey up... Won't be able to until late March though. I can't wait!  

I plan on doing a fantasy theme. Either way it will work out. I thought if it is a boy then maybe a more forest look to the decor but for a girl more girlie and have faeries all around the walls. Both can have faeries but I thought more greens for a boy with lots of trees painted on the walls and more rainbows and pinks for a girl.

I didnt do a theme with my son just a lil of everything so that we had something different to look at all throughout the room and I like that..
Were we rent they wont let us paint and my boy and girl will share a room until our lease is up...I am sad....I wanna go all out for my girl and cant...

I know.... we're allowed to paint but have to paint it back before we leave and we never know when that's gonna be d/t DH getting deployed and such (I'll be moving back home if/when he does.) So it just makes more sense to not paint so we don't have to worry about it. As much as I want to.

You dont have to paint hun try creating some quilted animals that can hang on the walls and dec the heck out of her area and you can make your son some too and he wont feel that he is being left out at all.

im going with colors like greens yellow and oranges no matter what the sex is...because i might have my babies share a room somewhere down the line and it would match my sons bedroom stuff (amy coe mod penut bedding) and because im not into the pink for girl blue for boy thing

Then try making things like I mentioned above . You can hand sew if you do not have a sewing machine. Try making the babies names out of material and then quilting it make them hang from the ceilings. Put up a border around the middle or top and just take them up with thumb tacks. Easy to remove and it wont damage the walls any.

I'm having a boy. His nursery walls are painted Pixie Violet with natural colored furniture and a safari themed bedding (it has blues, greens, pinks, oranges, yellows, purples, brown, white, etc.) We've also ordered a 5x8 rug that won't exactly match b/c it's the USA with the abbreviations for the states and all sorts of colors. But hey he'll outgrow the crib before the rug so who cares.
