i just know UOP charges 250 per credit hour. that's the military discount. not sure about others. also, look into MYCAA, a grant for military spouses.

good for you for going back to school and getting done!

Ashford universtiy- with military scholarship it ends up being $750/class, but classes are 5 weeks each, you take 1 at a time.
American Public University- Also $750/class, classes are 8 weeks and you take 2 at a time.

that's what UOP costs too... i think most online "for profit" universities charge about that..

OP, i'd look into community college maybe?

and i think the site for that, is militaryonesource.com or something like that.. they should be able to give you a little more info about what it covers and such.

Actually most charge alot more. Every one I've looked into has been at least 1,200/class. Except for these ones...

Apply to fafsa and go to your local community college. You don't qualify for the GI bill?

MYCAA won't cover you if your husband is E-5 or above. Mine's an E-6 and I can't use it.

MyCAA is a program that DOD has established to aid career development of military spouses. Under this program, you are eligible to receive financial aid for pursuing education/training/certification in portable careers. However, the program does not cover four-year Bachelor degrees. As for online schools that accept this program, there’s Career Step. It is one of the leading medical transcription schools in the country, but also offers training in other fields like administrative assistance, medical coding & billing, and pharmacy tech.
